Problem
Voice-driven nav apps all phoned home. A privacy-first version had to run the model on-device.
Approach
Quantized local model + React Native shell + offline map data. Voice loop runs end-to-end on the phone.
Outcome
Worked but on-device model size pushed the install over typical user tolerance. Deprecated pending a smaller model.
